Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) for NSU


The BBA degree is offered to provide students with an understanding of the functioning of business from a theoretical, practical, and managerial perspective. The BBA degree is offered with choice of majors in Marketing, International Business, Management Information Systems (MIS), Human Resource Management, Business Policy and Strategy, Finance and Accounting. The core courses develop the foundation in the business area, the general education courses broaden their knowledge base in other areas. The concentration courses provide students with in-depth knowledge in the area in which the student specializes.

2. General Education (GED) courses (27 credits):
ECO 101, MIS 105 and BUS 134 included in the BBA degree core courses fulfill 9 credits of GED requirements. The other GED courses will be part of university-wide GED requirements which include:

3. Concentration Electives (18 credits):

 Currently six concentration areas are available. These are (i) Finance and Accounting (ii) Human Resource Management (iii) Business Policy and Strategy (iv) Marketing (v) International Business and (vi) Management Information Systems (MIS).


3.1 FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING
Students majoring in this area must take the following three courses (9 credits):

3.2 HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
Students majoring in this area must take the following three courses (9 credits):

3.3 BUSINESS POLICY AND STRATEGY
Students majoring in this area must take the following 4 courses (12 credits):
